Zionism was founded on the belief that Jews need to govern their own country in order for them to be treated fairly.
By extension, this would mean Jews should not expect to be treated fairly anywhere else.
Obviously, that is not ideal. Zionism should NOT be, and should never have been, the goal of Jews.
Jews deserve to live in peace not only in a specific piece of land but in any place they are living in like any other citizen of that place.
Palestinian Muslims and Christians have the same right.
