Eid Mubarak

Monday May 2nd, Muslims around the world will be celebrating Eid Ul-Fitr, to commemorate the conclusion of the Holy month of Ramadan.  For Muslims the whole month of Ramadan and Eid Ul-Fitr are a time of great joy, family, friendship and fulfillment.

We, at the Islamic Society of Augusta, want to wish all of our friends and neighbors “Eid Mubarak”.

The Islamic Society of Augusta has produced this “Virtual Tour of Ramadan” video that we want to share with all our friends and neighbors.  Although it was just produced during 2021, most of the images included were from pre-pandemic times.

A couple of other videos about Ramadan and Eid are:

Unfortunately, due the pandemic, for two years Muslims have not been able to enjoy the gatherings we normally have during Ramadan and Eid.  We are praying that soon, the whole world we be over this pandemic and we can return to a more normal life which includes gatherings.  Insha’Allah (God willing) next Ramadan the Islamic Society of Auguste will again be able to host “A Taste of Ramadan” for our friends and neighbors, as we had done for several years prior to the pandemic.

Eid Mubarak!
